Tässä jonkunlaine resepti lonttoon kielellä:
3 doz. cod tongues
1 1/2 cups of flour
3 tbs. margarine or cooking oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper.
Carefully wash and dry fresh cod tongues. Place flour, salt, and pepper together in a plastic bag, add tongues and shake until covered evenly with flour.
Melt margarine in large saucepan
Add tongues and cook until golden brown

Ingredients
24 Cod Tongues
250 ml (1 c.) Milk
250 ml (1 c.) biscuit or bread crumbs
30 ml (2 tbsp.) Salt
Method
Wipe cod tongues with damp cloth. Soak in milk in which salt is dissolved for about 10 minutes. Drain and roll in crumbs. Place on a greased sheet or dish and bake in (450 F) oven for about 10 minutes. Serve with lemon slices.
